New Qatarization Supervisor

As per the Qatarization procedure jobs have to be qatarized where possible. Hassan Al-Yousef has acquired the “Qatarization Supervisor” position as he became ready to undertake this role. Hassan had been an excellent developee and earned his role; he has been with the T&D section for the last two years and performed independently in several tasks one of which was the last Qatari Town Hall meeting (regarded as the best Qatari Town Hall meeting so far) and other activites as well.

Mechanical Engineers

Naif Al-Motawa and Ahmed Subaey havebeen promoted to the position of Mechanical Engineer after successfully completing their assignments in the Development Plan. They have demonstrated good leadership skills in the start up and commissioning of QChem 2 plant.

July & August 2010

During July and August Q-Chem runs its annual “Summer Training for Students” for various academic levels and institutions. This year was a diverse as we had students from schools, local and international universities as well as from tertiary institutions. The students and their institution saw Q-Chem as one of the best providers for summer training.

TPP and Technology students in CNA-Q

All of our current students registered in CNAQ via TPP or technology programs have successfully completed their academic year and progressed to the next level with good GPA’s.

TPP Trainees

All of the TPP trainees who were sponsored by Q-Chem and spend their Work Place Learning in Q-Chem and RLOC have had done a wonderful job. All of them have been found competent and they are Q-Chem employees as well as they received TAFE Certificate II in their respective trade area. Below are the names of these TPP trainees who made successfully into employment stage:

Hamad Saeed Ali Al-Qraissi, Saif Saleh Mohammed Al-Korbi, Ali Nasser Hamad Al-Marri, Ali Salem Ali Al-Marri.
